An Afternoon of Original Music with Singer/Songwriter Kristen Short

Kristen Short, Singer-Songwriter & Actor presents An Afternoon of Original Music with accompanying musicians Rusty Wiltjer of Wiltjer Pottery (percussion) and Tom Coolidge (keys/guitar/vocals). Performance will be held at Our Lady of Ransom Church Hall, 117 Elm Street in Mechanic Falls, on Sunday, April 14, from 2 to 3:30 PM, with a 15-minute intermission mid-performance.

Donations will be accepted for admission and for refreshments by Cool Treats For Charity.  Performance benefits 501(c)(3) cancer support charity Short Folks For Hope Foundation and Our Lady of Ransom Renovation Committee. 

Kristen Short has been writing, performing and producing heartfelt, multi-genre original music since 1990.  She has written and produced over 50 songs and released the following original music CDs on her independent label, Sea Siren Records®: “Blossom in the Dust” (1998), “Dove in a Hurricane” (2000), “The Loan” (2007), “Water Lily Waits:  Music for Movement & Meditation” (2007, with Kathy Gracenin and Rusty Wiltjer), “Chairs” (2011, single, dedicated to The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing, now known as The Dempsey Center), “Smile” (2014, single, in memory of Vivian St. Onge).  Kristen is currently writing and recording her fifth full-length original music CD.  She is also an eight-year breast cancer survivor and is the founder and executive director of cancer support charity Short Folks For Hope Foundation located in South Paris, Maine, founded in 2012.  For the full Kristen Short bio, see her website at http://www.kristenshort.com.
