Last night I enjoyed rehearsing with a great group of musicians and vocalists for "Singing Down the Summer," a For the Love of a Song show directed by Sally Jones to benefit the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine on September 5 at 2 PM at Captain Morrill's Community Arts Center in Orr's Island, Maine. Tomorrow (Saturday) I have the honor of singing for a friend's wedding, and for the final song I'll be joined by a group of youngsters to sing a requested pop song for the bride and groom (with lyrics I rewrote to help make them wedding ceremony-worthy and youth-friendly :) ) Then Sunday I'm back to the Portland Sea Dogs to sing "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch at the 1 PM game.
